GREEN CARD
The purpose of the Green Card class is to make sure that the player has sufficient knowledge and skills in starting this sport and playing without putting other players at risk. The class includes the following things: golf etiquette (behaviour during golf), golf rules, sufficient playing skills. After the class, a performance test is carried done, after which playing can begin. The Green Card class is like obtaining a driving licence, without it playing is not allowed. Furthermore, playing requires the membership of some golf club.

Most of Finland’s golf courses are shareholding courses, on which playing requires share ownership. Paltamo Golf Course is a green fee course, i.e. the player only has to pay the Green Fee. Additionally, the player must have a Green Card and the membership of some golf club. Admissions to play on Paltamo Golf Course are admitted every 10 minutes. The time for playing must always be reserved in advance, either by phoning or on location. While making the reservation, be prepared to present your handicap and membership card. |

The full18-hole golf course is designed so that it provides a challenge even for the very skilled player, but is also easy enough for a beginner. The range is for practicing long strokes and the pitch and putting greens for refining your short game. For further information of the holes, click here
