Here you can calculate your slope handicap (slope = slope rating of the golf course) on any given golf course by submitting your exact handicap and the teeing ground figures. Your handicap is formed by the number of strokes for played rounds, i.e. it keep changing along with your skills, rising or dropping.
 

Paltamo Golf Course is located amidst beautiful nature with rocks, forests and shorelines have defined the location of holes.  

”the milieu of this course simultaneously reflects beauty and true excitement”, says the designer of the course, internationally appreciated Californian golf architect Ronald W. Fream.

The first drives on this course were struck in the summer of -90, and the new beautiful shore holes were finished in the summer of 2000.  

The practicing places of the course are designed so that practicing is possible in the early spring.  The range is for practicing long strokes and the pitch and putting greens for refining your short  game.

The midsummer sun shines from the end of May until the end of July in Paltamo. Even in the beginning of September, golf can be played in full daylight for some 14 hours a day. Can you possibly ask for more of golf in Finland?

Course description: Natural, well maintained golf course by Lake Oulujärvi. Challenging, suitable for players of all levels.

Driving instructions: From Paltamo 0.5 km to Kajaani, take the road turning right to Metelinniemi and drive about 1 km. Guides Opasteet on Oulu-Kajaani highway.

Additional services: Restaurant with a lake view, cottage and semi-detached house accommodation, golf shop for special golf products, meeting facilities and a room with a fireplace,  saunas and programme service products such as fishing and ATV safaris.
